The Security Center has not recorded an anti-virus

Resource and Performance Monitor shows "The Security Center has not recorded an anti-virus product", even though an AntiVirus software is installed.

Troubleshooting steps to fix the issue:

1 Type the following command: 

winmgmt /verifyrepository 

If you get a message "WMI repository is not consistent" , run the following command: 

winmgmt /salvagerepository 

This will perform a consistency check on the WMI repository and resolve the issue. 

Restart your machine. 

If you still get the alert or get the following message instead: 

winmgmt /salvagerepository is failed. 

Ignore this message, and again run "winmgmt /salvagerepository") 

2 Un-register WMIUTILS.DLL, restart the PC and re-register WMIUTILS.DLL.

3 Downloaded hotfix from Microsoft website and installed it.
